Welcome to Grand Reserve Bend

The Grand Reserve Bend is a two-part wine judging competition which is an integral part of the Wine by the River festival which is held in Bend, Oregon.

Prior to the festival, participating wineries are offered the opportunity to take part in the Grand Reserve Bend professional competition which consists of six categories that are critiqued by a panel of six distinguished judges, in a double-blind tasting of the wines. The wineries that have wines voted as the "Best of the Best" will be represented in our Grand Reserve Bend section at the festival.

The second competition is a consumer judging that actually takes place during the Wine by the River event. Consumer judges take to the stage in the demonstration tent. They use the same 6 categories as the professional judges to choose the consumers "Best of the Best".
